Mailly Champagne, France
Ernest Remy
The history of the champagne Ernest Remy dates back to the 19th century, when Isabey Remy and his wife Zélia Dubois founded the champagne Remy-Dubois in Mailly Champagne. Now Ernest Remy champagne has been revived by Tarek Berrada and his wife, Alice, with 15 hectares of grand cru vineyards located in the adjoining villages of Verzenay and Verzy.

The chalky mineral character and subtle orchard fruit is elegantly expressed in these fine champagnes. Temperature controlled fermentation of the free run juice, discarding the pressings, results in fine, elegant champagnes. Their Brut NV is aged for 36 months in the cellar and older wine is not added to the dosage, allowing a true expression of the wine. Freshness, purity and elegance typifies the house style of Ernest Remy.
